Ch. Rockback’s Spellbound, RN, NAP, NJP, OJP, OAP“Elizabeth”, affectionately known as “Lizzie” is owned by Cynthia Erb-Starkey, and bred by CathyAnn and Mark E. Litwin. “Lizzie” was the only girl born from “Pearl’s second litter. From the beginning we knew this little red girl had so much potential. Even in the puppy box she was in charge of her life. “Lizzie” entered the show ring February 20, 2003 and captured a 3 point major at the Maryland Kennel Club Show under Sporting Judge Nina Dee. What a great way to start her show career!! June 19, 2005, brought us another great win at the Delaware County Kennel Club Show, “Lizzie” collected yet another major win for 5 points! We are so excited about this pretty red girl. The Blue and Gray Cluster, held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, April 2006, proved to be the next big win. On April 14, 2006, under Kenneth W. Clemons, “Lizzie” yet again strutted into the breed ring and was awarded Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for another big major win under west coast judge, Kenneth W. Clemons. We are so proud of this girl!!! “Lizzie” is a well rounded English Cocker with great form, balance and lovely movement. We were now ready to have her contribute to the Rockback breeding program so during the early days of 2007, “Lizzie” was bred to the beautiful, Dragonstar’s Night Fantastic. April 19, 2007 “Lizzie” whelped her first litter. “Lizzie” is a milestone for Rockback English Cockers in many ways. However, we are most proud to say that she is the first Rockback dog to become a foundation bitch for another breeding program. We could not be more proud of both “Lizzie” and her owner, Cynthia Erb-Starkey, Redstone English Cocker Spaniels. After her maternity hiatus, Lizzie went back to the performance ring. Her first show in 2007 was the English Cocker Spaniel Club of America National Specialty, April 14-18, held in Lancaster Pennsylvania. “Lizzie” competed four times that week and took home several more top placements and titled in Novice Jumpers. All her scores were 95 or better! “Lizzie” continues to amaze us in her performance quest. The weekend of June 20, 21, 2009, at the new indoor agility site in Westminster, Maryland, Lizzie garnered two more titles. The first day she qualiifed with a score of 100 and added OJP to her name. The second day she qualifed again adding OAP. Cindy and Lizzie are now headed for the Excellent Ring!! |
