Meet Rockback Swinging On A Star, "Jack" bred by CathyAnn and Mark Litwin and owned by CathyAnn Litwin.

Jack started his career at the tender age of six months and a few days, the first week in August, 2007, at the Roanoke, Virginia Circuit. He was shown two days and went Winners Dog and Best of Breed over a Special both days from the bred by class. During that same week Jack took a Puppy Sporting Group One!!!! This is a very special boy and we are so proud of him.

Here we are… January 2008, another American Spaniel Club and we are off and flying again.  Jack is almost one year old now and really starting to hit his stride in the show ring.  Jack started this year off with a nice win from a large 9-12 Month Regular Class.  He also was fortunate to capture a placement from the 9-12 Sweepstakes Classes as well.

February 2008, we headed south to the Regional Specialty in South Carolina and won his 12-15 Month Sweepstakes Class and took a placement in the Bred-By-Exhibitor Class.

Jack went to the English Cocker National Specialty,on April 2008, held in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and won the coveted Bred-By-Exhibitor Class<!!!  We are so excited for this young boy and what is ahead for him.

May 17, 2008, brought Jack another win at the Mattaponi Kennel Club Show, under respected Sporting Judge Michael Faulkner.  Jack went Winners Dog and Best of Winners  for 2 points!

July 2008, thank goodness we were indoors showing at the Roanoke Kennel Club Show in Virginia.  It was hot and so was Jack.  He won again!  This very flashy black and white boy is taking the ring by storm.  He is fun to show and gives all he has when he is in the ring.  Jack is my first black and white dog since 1992! 

Jack entered the ring again in early November 2008 at the Salisbury Kennel Club Shows in Maryland.  He and his sister Vivian went Winners Dog and Winners Bitch respectively on the first day!  What a thrill to have bred both dogs and win from the Bred by Exhibitor classes!  These wins came from the respected Sporting Judge, Ruth Ann Freer Godfrey.

Jack’s second Best of Breed came the following day at the Salisbury Kennel Club Shows.  I was over the moon when California Judge, Carol Esterkin awarded Jack Best of Breed over a very high ranked English Cocker

2008 has been an excellent year for our very special boy.  Jack was awarded another major in December 2008, at the Lehigh Kennel Club Shows in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  What a nice way to round out another year of dog showing. 

We have another New Champion! Jack was awarded Winners Dog Big Apple Sporting Society Specialty February 5, 2009

On May 10, 2010, Jack sired his first litter of puppies.  One black and white male and one blue roan male.  Both puppies are very promising for the show ring.   Look for their own web pages in the near future.
